I love the A Good Man stamp set so much! I like the relaxed man in a hat and the kid on the shoulders stamps. So many men in my life have no hair and men without hair stamps are very hard to find. I still use the other stamp as well and there is no offence when used for a bald gentleman, but I like the versatility with the other two. I love the sentiments in this set as well. His is the perfect stamp set to use with ink blending to make a sunset, sunrise, or northern lights sky.
It is really important for me to celebrate the men in my life because they have influenced me in many ways. I have a wonderful older brother whom I still look up to. He has two amazing kids and to be able to send him a card for Father’s Day or his birthday is important to me. I often buy stamp sets that remind me of someone else, and this one is all about my older brother.
I find it is a good card for any man who is a positive influence on our kids. Every person who makes themselves a positive part of my daughter’s life, needs to be celebrated. This set makes that possible in so many fun ways.
I used ink blending to make the sunset/rise and coloured in the image with the Basic Black Marker.
Do you have a stamp set that reminds you of a good man in your life? How would you jazz a card up for a man? Would you add ribbon, shiny paper, embellishments, Wink of Stella, or some other technique or texture?
